Merry Christmas!!! What, Christmas is over??

Yeah, so I know Christmas is long gone! I've been very naughty not posting pictures before now, so here they are. We had such a great Christmas. We spent part of it with my family, part with Eric's family, and some here at home by ourselves. It was so much fun experiencing Christmas with a one year old. Grant was so funny opening presents and one of his new favorite sounds over Christmas was "Oooooooo." He would do it everytime he opened something he liked. It was so funny. Eric had off the entire week of Christmas which we were so thankful for. We were so blessed to be able to spend all of that time with family and friends.

Well, I'm not sure if my computer is the problem or the blog site, but either way I can't download any pics right now, so stay tuned for....OUR CHRISTMAS PICTURES!!!

Ok, I finally got them on here, so here we go!!
This year we spent Christmas Eve with Eric's family. Grant had such a great time opening presents from Grandaddy, Grandma, Granny, Uncle Jas, and Uncle Ty.

Here is Grant's big boy 4-wheeler that he got from Grandaddy and Grandma for Christmas. As you can see he is already trying to do tricks on it. He loves it.

This picture is Grant finding everything that Santa brought him. This is the first year we have been home on Christmas morning for Santa to come to our house. It was so exciting. At first Grant didn't want to come downstairs. He wanted to play in his room. He started to pitch a typical one year old fit and I told him he would be sorry. As soon as we came down the stairs and he saw all of his gifts under the tree, his eyes got huge and he got a huge smile on his face. It was priceless.

We spent Christmas night with my family. Mamaw put all of Grants gifts in one huge bag so he could just dig for them. The funny thing was that there was a Big Bird that vibrates when you squeeze his tummy and Grant grabbed it just right and made it shake and he got this terrified look on his face and threw it behind him as fast as he could. It didn't take him long to get over the shock and dig right in head first again. However, it did take a couple days to get him to play with Big Bird again.

Saturday after Christmas, my sister and her family all came over in the morning. She and I made chocolate chip pancakes for everybody. (That used to be a Sunday tradition in our house) After a yummy breakfast they hooked up the Wii and started a Mario Cart Challenge. It was so much fun!

Eric had off the Monday after Christmas also, so we went to Old Salem and walked around. It was a beautiful day and we had a good time. I just think this picture is priceless. Grant loved walking around on the cobblestone sidewalks. We weren't sure how he would do walking around in the historical buildings and listening to the tour guides, but he was such a trooper as always. So, that's our adventures from Christmas. Hope everybody else enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did. For the first time in a while, I think we really slowed down long enough to remember how much God has blessed us. And that is A LOT!!
